Cupboards Direct supply Northampton Academy with new chairs (Cupboards Direct Ltd)

Cupboards Direct recently secured an order for 875 Polypropylene Stacking Chairs which were required for use in all areas of the Academy.

Previously the pupils had been using Polyprop's with padded seats and backs but these proved very quickly to be the wrong type of chairs for the Academy as the pads were picked to pieces.

Cupboards Direct offered several alternatives of Polyproylene Chairs but ended up supplying a basic model with a one piece shell that could not be vandalised in any shape or form.

Inside out (Ikea)

IKEA have just brought out a great new range of bright chairs that you could have in your bedroom until the summer arrives and then bring inside again in the autumn.

Designer Wiebke Braasch describes them like this

“My inspiration for VÄNÖ came from flower petals I found in my own garden. By using soft shapes and happy colours I wanted to give the chair a playful, summery appearance. You can use it as a comfortable chair indoors or in the garden where the low seat puts you close to the lawn. I hope that VÄNÖ will feel like a good friend that you will want to be with all the time.”
